The Lion 3:59 King. 4:17 Thank you. 5:09 You are okay, 5:10 I'll leave it at once… 5:14 So, so, so Tau 5:32 So Bona, So Bona, So Bona. 5:59 Welcome to our village! 6:01 Today we will share with you our favorite story 6:03 of the young lion who become 6:05 Now imagine right here the great African savannah where a wise old mandrel 6:10 announces wonderful news. 6:33 Gonyama! 6:57 From the day we arise 7:01 On the planet, and blinking, step 7:06 into the sun There is more to see, 7:12 than could ever be seen 7:15 More to do, than could ever be done 7:20 There is far too much to take in here More 7:25 to find, that could ever be found 7:30 But the sun rolled high 7:34 In the sapphire sky 7:36 Keeps great and small 7:38 On the endless realm 7:41 It's the circle of life 7:46 And it moves us all 7:51 Through despair and hope 7:57 To faith and love 8:03 Till we find our place 8:08 On the path unwinding 8:14 In the circle 8:19 The circle of love 8:23 To faith and love 8:25 It's a circle of eyes, and 8:31 it wounds the soul, through 8:37 its fair and cool, through 8:42 faith and love, till 8:48 we find our place on 8:53 the... 8:53 The path unwinding 8:58 In the circle 9:03 The circle comes 9:23 Under the rule of the great King Mufasa, the Pridelands were a happy and prosperous place. 9:29 However, there was one who was discontent. 9:32 The King's brother had darkness in his soul. 9:34 And the news of the Lion Cove's birth made him terribly jealous. 9:48 Life's not fair. 9:50 is it? I shall never be king, and you shall not live to see another. 9:55 Scar, Sarabi and I didn't see you 9:57 the presentation of Simba. That was today? Oh, I feel something awful. 10:02 Must have slipped my mind. 10:05 As the king swore, you should have been first in line. I was first in line until the little hairball 10:10 was born. That little hairball is my son, and you're future king. Oh, I shall practice my curtsy. 10:15 Don't turn your back on me, Scar. 10:18 temper i wouldn't dream of it what am i gonna do with him well sorry he 10:23 make a very handsome throne 10:24 rug zazu and just think whenever he gets dirty you can 10:29 take him out and beat him 10:43 simba grew quickly into an eager young tub 10:46 Hey Dad, wait up! 10:48 With balance energy. 10:49 Where are we going? 10:50 Who adored his father? 10:52 Why did we get up so early? 10:53 Followed him everywhere. 10:55 When did we eat? 10:56 And wanted to know everything about everything. 10:59 Are we there yet? 11:02 Yes, we are. 11:03 Come sit by me. 11:06 Everything the light touches is our kingdom. 11:11 A king's time, his ruler, rises and falls like the sun. 11:14 One day, the sun will set on my time, and we'll rise with you as the new king, Simba. 11:18 And this will all be mine? 11:22 What about that shadowy place way out there? 11:24 That's beyond our borders. You must never go there, Simba. 11:27 But I thought a king can do whatever he wants. 11:30 There's a lot more to being king than getting your way all the time. 11:33 What are those birds over there? 11:35 They're buzzards. 11:36 They're scary. Why don't you chase them away? 11:39 They're doing what they're supposed to do. Everything exists in... 11:42 in a delicate balance. As king, you must respect all creatures from the crawling ant to the 11:46 leaping antelope. But don't we eat the antelope? Yes, but when we die, our bodies become 11:51 the grass, 11:52 and the antelope eat the grass. Everything is connected to the great circle of life. 11:59 Suddenly, Zazu flew into the port, seeing hyenas in the fried land. So Mufasa went to investigate, 12:04 leaving his son safely behind. Simba hated missing out on adventure, but he loved thinking 12:09 about 12:12 Hey, Uncle Scar, guess what? I'm going to be king of Pride Rock. 12:16 Oh, goody. 12:17 My dad just showed me the whole kingdom. 12:19 Really? Did he show you what to be on that rise at the northern border? 12:23 Well, no. He said I can't go there. 12:25 He's absolutely right. It's far too dangerous. Only the bravest of lions go 12:30 there. 12:31 Well, I'm brave. 12:32 An elephant graveyard is no place for a young prince. 12:36 An elephant what? 12:37 Oh, dear. 12:38 said too much. Just promise me 12:40 you'll never visit that dreadful place. 12:42 No problem, Uncle Scar. 12:44 That's a good lad. You run along 12:46 now and have fun. And remember, 12:48 it's our little secret. 12:57 Hey, Nala. 12:59 Hi, Simba. 13:00 I just heard about this great place. Come on. 13:02 Better not be any place 13:04 lame. Nala! Oh, you're right! 15:55 Royal pain in the tail, Feather. 16:00 All right, we lost him. 16:02 I'm a genius. 16:04 Hey, genius, it was my idea. 16:07 This is it. 16:08 We made it to the elephant graveyard. 16:10 Wow. 16:12 Creepy. 16:13 We could get in big trouble. 16:16 Too late. 16:17 You are in big trouble. 16:19 Zazu. 16:21 This is way beyond the... 16:23 boundaries of the pride lands very dangerous. Danger? Ha! I 16:28 walk on the wild side. I laugh in the face of danger. Ha ha ha ha ha. He 16:33 he he he he. Well, well, well, Banzai, what have we got here? 16:39 I don't know, Shanzi. What are you thinking? He he he. Just what I was thinking. A 16:44 trail of trespassers. A simple navigational error. Let me show you. 16:49 We'll be leaving now. 16:51 fast food. How about some takeout? Make mine a cubs sandwich. Time to chow 16:56 down. Heads or tails? Yum yum yum yum. Simba. That 17:04 was it? Come on, do it again. Roar. 17:13 You deliberately disobeyed me. Dad, I'm sorry. Let's go 17:18 home. 17:20 I thought you were very brave. 17:27 That loud, Mufasa. I'll fail to sit for a week. 17:30 If it weren't for those pushy lions, we'd be running the joint. 17:36 Oh, Shirley B. Lions are not all that bad. 17:39 Oh, Scar, it's just you. 17:41 I'm surrounded by idiots. I practically gift-wrapped those cubs for you. 17:45 Well, you know, it wasn't like they were exactly... 17:47 alone, Scar. Yeah, what are we supposed to do? Kill Mufasa? 17:52 Precisely. 17:56 Never thought hyenas sent you. Your 18:02 crew are unspeakably plain. 18:05 But maybe you've a glimmer of potential. If 18:11 ally is my vision and prey. 18:17 Help! Help! Help! Help! 18:24 I know that your powers of retention are as wet as 18:29 a wall comes back side. 18:32 But thick as you are, pay attention! My words don't 18:37 matter, pride. 18:39 It's clear from your vacant success. 18:43 The lions run along upstairs 18:47 There's shocking chaos and successions 18:51 Even you can't be caught unaware 18:54 Let's prepare for the chance of a lifetime 18:58 Be prepared for sensational news 19:02 A shining new era is a growing era 19:07 Please do, just listen to teach you 19:11 I know what's up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up, 19:16 up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up, up. 19:19 And injustice, solicitor, be prepared. 19:27 So what are we paying for? 19:28 For the death of the king. 19:30 Is he thick? 19:31 No fool, we're gonna kill him. 19:33 And Simba, too. 19:34 Great idea, who needs a king? 19:36 No king, no king, la, la, la, la. 19:39 Idiots, I will be king. Stick with me, and you'll never go 19:44 hungry again. 19:46 Long live the king! Long live the king! 19:50 So prepare for the crew, all who spend three. Be prepared 19:56 for the murky and scams. 20:00 Meticulous planning, tenacity slanting. Then he does a crash 20:05 rate, with quite a drill question. 20:07 Teaching one is beautiful, 20:09 Respect is saluted, 20:12 And sitting for the monster I am! 20:15 Yes, our teeth and animations are fair! 20:19 Be prepared! 20:23 Yes, our teeth and animations are fair! 20:27 Be prepared! 20:52 Simba, I'm very disappointed. 20:54 You and Nala could have been killed. 20:55 I was just trying to be brave, like you. 20:58 I'm only brave when I have to be. 21:00 But you're not scared of anything. 21:03 I was scared. 21:03 I thought I might lose you. 21:07 We'll always be together, right? 21:10 Simba, look up. 21:11 The great kings of the past look down on us from those stars. 21:15 So whenever you feel alone, remember, 21:17 those kings will always be there to guide you, 21:19 and so will I. 21:24 Right, kings of the past? 21:26 To look at the stars? 21:27 No, they had fun to think about. 21:29 And remember, but first... 21:31 He had to prove that he could be king someday. 21:42 Hey Uncle Scar, why did you bring me here to the gorge? 21:45 Your father has a marvelous surprise for you. 21:48 I'll go get him. 21:50 You just stay here on this ledge. 21:53 You wouldn't want to end up in another mess like you did with those hyenas. 21:57 You know about that? 21:58 Lucky Daddy was there. 22:00 there to save you, so you might want to work on that little roar of yours. 22:04 Oh, okay. Hey, Uncle Scar, will I like the surprise? 22:07 Simba, it's to die for. 22:12 Little roar, huh? Roar! Roar! 22:18 Roar! 22:22 Walls! 22:23 Then he heard a rumbling sound. Which grew and grew and grew. 22:28 Suddenly, hundreds of wildebeest were heading right toward him. 22:31 Shepard began to run as fast as he could. 22:33 At that moment, Smart told the king that Zim was in danger. 22:37 So Mufasa dashed into the stampede and got his son to safety. 22:40 However, the wildebeest carried him deeper into the gorge. 22:44 And then he saw his brother and leaped to grab a rocky ground. 22:50 This is gone, brother, help him. 22:52 Smart owned his closet to Mufasa's great man and destroyed him. 22:56 Long live the king. 22:58 And then he let go. 23:13 Dad! 23:15 Dad? 23:16 Dad, come on, Dad. 23:18 Come on, Dad, you've gotta get up. 23:20 Please, help, somebody, please help me! 23:24 Simba, what have you done? 23:26 There were wildebeests. It's an accident. I didn't mean to. 23:29 Of course you didn't. But the king is dead. 23:33 If it weren't for you, he'd still be alive. 23:36 What am I going to do? 23:37 What will your mother think? 23:38 What am I going to do? 23:40 Run. Run away, Simba. Run away and never return. 23:44 Come on. 24:01 Mufasa's death is a terrible tragedy, but to lose Simba too, so 24:08 it is with a heavy heart 24:09 that I assume the throne, yet we shall rise to greet the dawning 24:15 of a new era in which 24:16 lion and hyena come together in a great end 24:20 glorious future 24:26 this was the saddest day the pridelands had ever seen the great ruler 24:30 mufasa he's gone with his deceitful brother 24:34 scar now in his place and the young lion cub who once wanted to be king 24:38 ran as far away as he could into a desert 25:02 Yikes!
